How to Make a Cake for a Dog – Dog Birthday Cake Recipe

Hey guys, welcome to the Tasty Delights Channel! I’m Yolis, and today my little baby, Love,
right here. She turns 3 years old, and we’re going to
be celebrating by making her a doggie safe birthday cake. So let’s go ahead and get started. For this recipe you will need. 2 Cups of rice flour or you can use regular
flour, honestly, it’s not that big a deal if you’re only giving them a doggie cake
once a year. 2 Ripe bananas. 3 Eggs. And we’re going to use 1/2 a cup of peanut
butter for the cake and then 1/4 cup of peanut butter later for the frosting. 1/3 cup of water. 1/3 cup of lacotse free milk. And If you don’t have lactose-free milk,
don’t worry about it, just use 2/3 cups of water. 2 teaspoons of baking powder,1/4 cup of olive
oil, 1/4 cup of honey, and we’re going to use 1 cup of cream cheese later for the frosting. Start by pre-heating your oven to 350 degrees. Add you bananas and your eggs into a bowl
and mash them together until they have a liquid consistency. Then you’re going to add all the rest of
the ingredients that are going into your dog cake. And you can use a hand mixer for this, you
don’t need a stand mixer. Honestly, you can even mix this by hand of
you’d like as well. Once all your ingredients are nicely mixed
in together, you’re going to pour your cake batter into your cake pan, I’m using the
5 layer cake pan set by Wilton. And these are 6 inch cake pans but they’re
very thin, so 5 of them stack up and create the perfect sized cake, but you can use two
6 inch regular sized cake pans if you’d like as well. Then put them in the over for about 30 minutes. Once your cakes are baked, let them sit and
cool until they are no longer hot to the touch. While our cakes are cooling, we can make our
frosting by using 1/4 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of cream cheese and then you’re just
going to drizzle a little bit of honey, this is actually optional, I used about 1 teaspoon
of honey and then mix it all together. When you’re cakes are cool to the touch,
we’re going to start layering our cake. So we’re going to put down our first layer
on a little bit of frosting so that it stays in place. Then we’re going to frost it with just a
thin layer of our dog safe frosting, then we’re going to add our next layer and repeat
the process until the cake is all stacked up. Next frost the entire cake, and then this
is optional, but I wanted to add treats to decorate, so I added some to the side. And then I used a piping bag with a wilton
tip number 2D to add a little extra decoration to the border of the cake. and then I added
some little heart shaped treats to the top and center of the cake for the finishing touch. Alright guys, so we’re done making the cake,
and we’re going to see how the little ones like it. Yes baby, you get your cake. Let’s cut you a little slice first, okay? And then I’m also going to go ahead and
cut this into small pieces because this little dog will probably choke on it because she
doesn’t chew her food when she really likes it, and I’m hoping she’s going to really
like it. So, let’s just cut it up really tiny for
her. Alright Love, are you ready to try your cake? Good girl. She liked her cake, so now we’re going to
let her sister and brother try it too. So there you have it, that was our video for
