Did you know that in a few years there will be billions of interconnected smart devices? And how about Brazil? Does it have the technology needed to develop its own smart devices? The Caninos Loucos Project, conceived and supported by Jon “Maddog” Hall, will bring the production of single board computers to Brazil, at affordable prices and with an entirely open structure. We want to create a collaborative community and encourage the development of new sensors and connected devices using Caninos Loucos’s Labrador single board. Labrador is 100% Brazilian and has open hardware and software. It’s a small and powerful computer. By adding a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor, you can connect to the internet, via ethernet cable or wi-fi, play videos and run text editing software. It can be used by industries, maker communities and startup companies to create projects in electronics, automation, IoT, robotics, programming, safety and whatever your imagination conceives.
